About The Author
Klaas Kalma was born in Nigeria and came to the United States about twenty years ago. She is a wife, a mother, and a community volunteer. Jane has a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Capella University. Jane wrote this book after a presentation on this topic in a speaking forum. The author’s young children read the initial presentation and urged this author to expand it into a children’s book. Thus, a new children’s book was born out of a speech that outlined the qualities of a mother: an animal mother that can easily apply to human mothers too.
